The South Dakota Coyote football team hosts Weber State for their home opener at 2 p.m. Saturday. The following are things to know about parking around the DakotaDome on game day. Use the information and the map provided below to best plan your trip:

General Parking (Tailgating Available)
Fans who do not have preferred parking, but may want to tailgate should park in the West Lot. The only way to access the West Lot will be from Cottage St., which runs to the west of that lot. This is a change from last year, but should provide a safer environment for fans. The West Lot is highlighted in blue on the map.

General Parking (No Tailgating)
The best spot for fans to park who do not have preferred parking and do not wish to tailgate is Lot 36, the lot south of the DakotaDome and the Sanford Coyote Sports Center. This lot can be accessed from Dakota St. or Rose St. There is no tailgating permitted in Lot 36, which is highlighted in blue on the map.

USD Students
Student tailgaters who have reserved spots must enter the Student Tailgate from Dakota St. The Student Tailgate is shown in red on the map.

Tailgate Nation
Fans with passes for "Tailgate Nation" must enter from Dakota St. Tailgate Nation is shown in red on the map.

Preferred Parking (V.I.P. Entrance)
Fans with a preferred parking pass must enter from University St., east of the DakotaDome by the WH Over Museum. Preferred Parking is shown in yellow on the map.
