ELMHURST, Ill.– South Dakota libero Anne Rasmussen has been named the Summit League Defensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week the conference announced Monday.
 
Rasmussen led the defense for the Coyotes against Fort Wayne as she recorded a match-high 27 digs with an average nine digs per set. The libero is currently second in the league for digs per set with 5.18 and in total digs with 290.
 
Rasmussen helped the Coyotes to a sweep over Fort Wayne this past weekend. South Dakota will host Oral Roberts in the Sanford Coyotes Sports Center at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
