ELMHURST, Ill.–South Dakota libero Anne Rasmussen has been named the Summit League Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season the conference announced Monday.
 
Rasmussen led the Coyotes to pair of 3-0 wins over Western Illinois and North Dakota State this past weekend. The libero recorded 26 digs against the Leathernecks and 17 digs against the Bison to give her an impressive 7.17 digs per set. Rasmussen is currently second in the league in both digs per set (5.41) and total digs (411).
 
South Dakota will host Fort Wayne in the Sanford Coyotes Sports Center at 7 p.m. Friday.
