Dakota Days Fan Guide (You can win $250)

As announced Thursday, Saturday's Dakota Days matchup between South Dakota and Youngstown State is sold out. There will be no tickets available to purchase on game day. If you don't have a ticket, you can follow the game online for free at GoYotes.com. The game is being broadcast live by Midco Sports Network.
 
Will Call
The will call window is located in the vestibule of the Sanford Coyote Sports Center adjacent to the DakotaDome.
 
Parking (Map Below)
The parking lots will open to the general public at 8:30 a.m. ahead of the Dakota Days Parade, which starts at 9 a.m. on Main Street near Prentis Park. The student tailgate lot will open at 10 a.m.
 
Priority Parking (Purple on map | Permit Parking | DakotaDome Lots A, C, & D)
Priority Parking Permits are distributed to Season Ticket holders who are Howling Pack members at the Red Club ($600) donation level or higher. Tailgating is allowed behind each car with 1 car per parking stall. Tailgating must not infringe on other parking stalls or traffic lanes. To enter VIP Parking, please use University St.
 
Tailgate Nation (Red on Map | Permit Parking | DakotaDome Lot B)
 Tailgate Nation Permits are distributed to Season Ticket holders who have purchased a season tailgating spot. Tailgating and vehicles must stay within each lot owner's stall. To enter Tailgate Nation, please use Dakota St.
 
West Grass Lot (Yellow on map | General Parking)
General parking is permitted in the West Grass Lost. Tailgating is allowed behind each car with 1 car per parking stall. Tailgating must not infringe on other parking stalls or traffic lanes.
 
Due to wet conditions, no RV or large trailers will be permitted to park in this area on Saturday. To enter the West Grass Lot, please use Cottage St., entry will not be permitted via Dakota St.
 
RV Parking
Fans bringing RV's and heavy trailers for tailgating will be permitted into any concrete lot around the DakotaDome, including Lot 36 and the parking lot next to the Muenster University Center.
 
Lot 36 and Muenster University Lot (Yellow on map | General Parking)
General parking is permitted in Lot 36, South of the DakotaDome. To enter Lot 36, please use Dakota St.
 
South Dakota Beef "Tailgater of the Game"
South Dakota Beef is sponsoring a "Tailgater of the Game" contest prior to the game in which first place will win $250 Beef Bucks, second place gets $150 and third place gets $100. All tailgaters within Coyote Nation are encouraged to grill up their best beef recipes and bring samples to judges located at tailgate spot #19 in DakotaDome Lot B. Look for a tent and South Dakota Beef Council banner located near the large video board.
 
The three judges are:
  • A.J. Schable – Coyote Hall of Famer, former NFL player
  • Sabrina Swee – Food Network Chopped Junior Champion (Season 1)
  • Susan Christensen – South Dakota Team BEEF member
Please provide three items for presentation and taste. Participants will be judged on:
  • Tailgate Friendliness (easy to eat, clean up, keep warm)
  • Taste
  • Presentation
  • Salesmanship
 
Inside the DakotaDome (Additional Restrooms & Concessions)
With a sellout crowd, expect the concessions, concourse and restroom areas inside the DakotaDome to become congested at peak times. Remember that additional restrooms and concessions are available at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center adjacent to the DakotaDome. Entry to the Sports Center is on the far south side of the DakotaDome concourse.
