VERMILLION, S.D.–South Dakota women's basketball improved one spot to No. 23 in the latest CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 poll announced Tuesday evening. Votes are made by 31 head coaches from 22 mid-major conferences.
The Coyotes (13-5, 4-0 Summit) entered the Mid-Major poll a week ago in the 24th spot. In the last week, South Dakota tallied an 87-25 victory over Mount Marty and defeated Fort Wayne 85-43. The Coyotes shot above 60 percent in both games and forced 51 combined turnovers for the week.

Ciara Duffy, junior guard
Allison Arens and junior guard
Jaycee Bradley are all averaging double figures for the Coyotes. Duffy is averaging 17.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists through the team's first four Summit League games.
Florida Gulf Coast (16-3) remains at the top of the poll receiving 24 of the first-place votes.
South Dakota faces Oral Roberts at 7 p.m. Wednesday inside the Mabee Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Coyotes return to the Sanford Coyote Sports Center to host Omaha on Saturday.
