Ten years have passed since the South Dakota women's basketball team's run to the NCAA Division II Championship game. In USD head coach Chad Lavin's final season, the Coyotes rattled off 31 consecutive victories to win the North Central Conference regular season, the NCC Tournament and the NCAA North Central Region Tournament. South Dakota's NCAA run included a double-overtime win against Washburn in the Elite Eight and an upset of top-ranked Delta State in the Final Four, before falling to Northern Kentucky, 63-58, in the NCAA Division II Championship game.
