    The Coyote Tailgate Nation features a large, grass area and hard-surfaced lot parking for reserved tailgating, as well as large, open areas dedicated for games and foot traffic socializing. Also featured in Coyote Tailgate Nation is the Yippin' Yotes Kid Zone and areas dedicated to admissions and other departments and groups on campus.
     
    Incorporating all aspects of campus life and community into one area reflects the importance and vitality of football game days in Vermillion. This all results in a truly unique arrangement for game days and the increased fan-friendly environment will be a tremendous benefit to all Coyote fans.
     
    2013 Tailgating Options
     
    Large, open grass areas can be reserved on a single or season basis. Prices are listed below. Single-game prices are doubled for Dakota Days and South Dakota State. This area sold out last season so be sure to reserve your area today!
    • Small Lot 30' x 30' (2 vehicles): Single Game - $30; Season - $180
    • Large Lot 30' x 60' (3 vehicles): Single Game - $50; Season - $300

    Lot F, immediately south of the Dome, is reserved for single-car tailgating. Single tailgate spots for individual games are $5 and season passes to this lot are $30. The lot is open on a first come, first serve basis for $5 on game day. Single-game prices are doubled for Dakota Days and South Dakota State.
