Started all 15 games at safety for the Yotes … sat top-20 in the MVFC in tackles per game (6.27) … sat second on the team in tackles (94.0) with 2.5 TFLs … also credited with six pass break-ups, one QB hurry, and one forced fumble … at Iowa State (Aug. 30): recorded four tackles in the season-opener and his first-career start against the Cyclones … at Lamar (Sept. 6): posted six tackles against the Cardinals … vs. Northern Colorado (Sept. 13): posted a career-best and the team’s single-game best of 14 tackles against the Bears … also forced a fumble in the overtime win … vs. Drake (Sept. 20): sat second on the team with six tackles against Drake … at North Dakota State (Sept. 27): had seven tackles against NDSU … vs. Murray State (Oct. 4): posted three tackles and a pass break-up against the Racers on Dakota Days … at Indiana State (Oct. 11): busy day against the Sycamores with six tackles, 0.5 TFLs, a pass break-up, and a quarterback hurry … at Northern Iowa (Oct. 18): posted seven tackles in the win at UNI with a pass break-up … vs. Illinois State (Oct. 25): had four tackles against the Redbirds … vs. North Dakota (Nov. 1): had six tackles and a TFL against the Fighting Hawks … vs. South Dakota State (Nov. 8): had seven tackles with one TFL against the Jacks … at Mercer (Dec. 6): posted seven tackles in the shutout victory at Mercer … at Montana (Dec. 13): ended his Coyote career with seven tackles with a pass break-up in the quarterfinals against the Griz.

2024 | Redshirt Freshman
Appeared in all 14 games for South Dakota in his first full season, making three starts (Northern State, Wisconsin, and Tarleton State) … earned the start at cornerback for the first two games of the season … recorded 19 tackles with one pass break-up … had a season-best four tackles in the season-opener against Northern State (Aug. 29) with his lone tackle for loss of the season.

2023 | Freshman
One of eight true freshmen who competed for the Coyotes … played in six games including the two NCAA playoff games and is eligible to redshirt … had three tackles in the regular season finale at Western Illinois (Nov. 18).

Prep
Two-time first team all-area, all-conference and all-district honoree ... earned all-state honors as a senior when he compiled 146 tackles including 103 solo stops ... had 16 tackles-for-loss and four interceptions including a pick-six ... blocked two punts, forced two fumbles and recovered three ... Pop Warner national champion in 2015 ... also competed in basketball and track and field for the Indians... National Honor Society member.
