VERMILLION, S.D.--Redshirt freshman running back Trevor Bouma ran for a season-high 145 yards and two touchdowns to lead South Dakota to a 17-14 win against Indiana State Saturday at the DakotaDome. It's the second straight win for the Coyotes (3-3, 2-1 MVFC), who improved to 3-0 at home.
2012 One of 12 redshirt freshmen who lettered in 2012...started two games at tight end and was one of 38 Coyotes who played in all 11 games...caught a pass in the season finale at SDSU (11/17)...had a 10 yard kickoff return vs. Illinois State (9/29)...part of a unit who helped the Coyotes average 120 yards rushing and 164 yards passing...one of 26 active Coyotes with a cumulative GPA above 3.0...MVFC Honor Roll.

Prep Helped coach Matt Biehler and the Cardinals win the state championship as a sophomore and finish runner-up as a senior...earned first-team all-state honors as a defensive end...also named first team by the coaches association....claimed first-team all-conference honors as a defensive end and tight end...made 48 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and five sacks while forcing two fumbles and recovering two...on offense made nine receptions with three touchdowns and 21.3 yards per catch...also played tennis and finished runner-up in doubles at the state tournament as a junior...on the principal's honor roll four years.
