VERMILLION, S.D. - With Summit League Tournament seeding at stake, the South Dakota women's basketball team will play its final game of the regular season at Omaha on Thursday at 7 p.m. CT in Sapp Fieldhouse.  Pregame will start at 6:30 p.m. on 1570 KVTK with RJ Pattison at the call.

The Coyotes (14-14, 9-6) can clinch at least the third seed in the league tournament with a win or a Fort Wayne (12-14, 8-6) loss at Western Illinois on Thursday.  USD could still earn the second seed with a win and two IUPUI (17-10, 10-4) losses this week.

Tempestt Wilson averaged 20 points in last week's wins over IUPUI and Western Illinois.  The senior scored 24 points against Western Illinois in her final regular season game at the DakotaDome last Saturday, and led the Coyotes with 17 points against IUPUI last Thursday.

USD also had double-digit point efforts last week from Polly Harrington and Nicole Seekamp.  Harrington had a 16 point, 10 rebound performance against IUPUI, while Seekamp recorded 19 points against Western Illinois.  Seekamp also had a career-high nine assists against IUPUI.

About Omaha:  Omaha (16-10, 6-8) has lost three straight, but has an 11-4 record at home this season.  They are ineligible for the Summit League Tournament because they are currently reclassifying to Division I.

The Mavericks are led by Paige Frauendorfer, who averages 14 points and eight rebounds per game, while Carolyn Blair-Mobley is the second leading scorer at 11 ppg.  Omaha boasts the best scoring defense in the league, giving up 55 points per game.

Last meeting:  South Dakota won 62-57 at the DakotaDome on Dec. 30.  Lisa Loeffler led USD with career-high 14 points, while Wilson and Harrington both scored 13.  Seekamp added 12 points and six assists.

Three Mavericks scored in the double-digits: Blair-Mobley had 17 points, Casse Vaughn had 15 points, and Jamie Nash scored 12.  Frauendorfer was held to four points in the game on 1-for-13 shooting.

Up next:  South Dakota will play at the Summit League Tournament on March 9 or 10.
