    VERMILLION, S.D.--University of South Dakota placed 60 percent of its list-eligible student-athletes on the 2014-15 Summit League Fall Academic Distinguished Scholars List released Thursday by the league office.

    VERMILLION, S.D.--South Dakota placed a league-high three student-athletes on the Summit League Women's Soccer Academic All-League team, as announced by the league office on Wednesday. Juniors Mackenzie Viktor, Elena Tskakis and Kasha Meyer were honored for the academic and athletic performances this season.

    Coyotes fall 3-1 to Jackrabbits on senior day

    VERMILLION, S.D.--South Dakota State scored three goals in an 11-minute span to give the Jackrabbits a 3-1 edge over South Dakota during Friday afternoon's game at the USD Soccer Complex. The game marked the final home match of the 2014 season for South Dakota (8-6-3, 1-2-2 Summit League) and Coyote seniors were honored after the final whistle.
