    Summit League Opener Ends in Draw

    VERMILLION, S.D.--Junior goalkeeper Mackenzie Viktor recorded nine saves in South Dakota's scoreless tie with Omaha on Friday at the USD Soccer Complex in Vermillion.

    WATERLOO, Iowa--South Dakota held on for their fourth shutout of the season and scored twice to defeat Northern Iowa 2-0 on Sunday at the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex in Waterloo.


    Coyotes Win Battle of the Dakotas

    VERMILLION, S.D.--Junior Taylor Nivala scored twice to lead South Dakota past North Dakota for a 5-1 victory Friday at the USD Soccer Complex. The Coyotes' (5-4-0) win tied up the all-time series between the two Dakota teams 9-9-5.

    VERMILLION, S.D.--Junior Elena Tsakakis scored her first goal of the season, but it was not enough as the South Dakota women's soccer team fell to the Big East's Creighton 3-1 on Sunday at the USD Soccer Complex in Vermillion.
