    Three Coyotes named Academic All-Summit League

    VERMILLION, S.D.--South Dakota placed a league-high three student-athletes on the Summit League Women's Soccer Academic All-League team, as announced by the league office on Wednesday. Juniors Mackenzie Viktor, Elena Tskakis and Kasha Meyer were honored for the academic and athletic performances this season.


    Viktor, Strang named to second team all-Summit League

    VERMILLION, S.D.--South Dakota goalkeeper Mackenzie Viktor and forward Corey Strang were named to the 2014 all-Summit League second team, as released by the league office Wednesday.

    OMAHA, Neb.--Sophomore Corey Strang once again scored the game-winner in South Dakota's 1-0 win over Oral Roberts at Caniglia Field in Omaha on Tuesday.


    Coyotes fall 3-1 to Jackrabbits on senior day

    VERMILLION, S.D.--South Dakota State scored three goals in an 11-minute span to give the Jackrabbits a 3-1 edge over South Dakota during Friday afternoon's game at the USD Soccer Complex. The game marked the final home match of the 2014 season for South Dakota (8-6-3, 1-2-2 Summit League) and Coyote seniors were honored after the final whistle.

    VERMILLION, S.D.--The South Dakota women's soccer seniors will play their last home game at the USD Soccer Complex Friday as the Coyotes take on South Dakota State at 4 p.m.
