    VERMILLION, S.D.--South Dakota junior goalkeeper Mackenzie Viktor is one of 12 players selected to the Women's Soccer Academic All-Summit League Team as voted on by the eight institution's faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors. The players were picked for their academic and athletic performances this season.

    VERMILLION, S.D.--Freshman Catherine Raster had a first-half goal for IUPUI and South Dakota sophomore Kylee Willer scored on a penalty kick in the second half as the two teams competed to a 1-1 tie Sunday in the season finale for both teams.

    Bennett's goal lifts Coyotes to 3-0 win against Western

    VERMILLION, S.D.--South Dakota junior defender Lauren Bennett's free kick goal ended a drought and opened the floodgates in a 3-0 Coyote victory against Western Illinois Friday at the USD Soccer Complex.

    Viktor earns CoSIDA Academic All-District honors

    VERMILLION, S.D.--University of South Dakota junior goalkeeper Mackenzie Viktor has been voted to the Capital One Academic All-District 6 women's soccer team as selected by College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). As a first-team selection, Viktor advances to the national ballot as one of eight NCAA Division I players to be considered for Academic All-America honors.

    Named to SDSU's Jackrabbit Invitational all-tournament team.

    Started the first two games in goal before suffering a season-ending injury...made 14 saves and held a save percentage of .778...allowed four goals and a goals against average of 1.86...had a record of 0-2 on the season.

    2011
    Played a total of 1,518 minutes during her freshman season and started 18 of the Coyotes' 19 games...recorded two shutouts on the season...finished with 106 saves, fourth-most in a single season in school history...had a career-high 10 saves against North Dakota...finished with a 2.28 goals allowed average...named to the Academic All-Summit League team, earning Distinguished Scholar status.
